Rebecca Carver Institute on Experiential Education – Friday, March 28

The Rebecca Carver Institute on Experiential Education, sponsored by the Educational Leadership & Cultural Foundations department in SOE, will hold a day-long intensive workshop on Friday, March 28, from 9am-4pm in the Faculty Center (FTLC) on the UNCG Campus. Nettie Pardue, Global Leadership Coach, Experiential Educator and Curriculum Designer, from the Outward Bound Center for Peace-building, invites all faculty members to a daylong workshop to explore a unique and interactive framework that can be applied to better equip students to deeply engage with global communities and to become more compassionate local and global citizens. Global engagement is the focus for this year’s workshop, and the event is designed for both seasoned and new educators. The Rebecca Carver Institute is in honor of former UNCG professor, Dr. Rebecca Carver. Please email Jessica McCall (Communication Studies, FTLC Fellow) at jedelk@uncg.edu for questions on the Institute, and you can register your attendance here.
